What is Health Care Services NC II?
The qualification covers non-clinical patient care in a health facility: preparing and maintaining beds, managing linen, helping patients move and transporting them safely, supporting patients emotionally and socially, and handling health-care waste correctly.
It is often called the “nursing aide” course. Nursing aides support nurses but do not perform nursing procedures reserved for licensed nurses.
