What the Certificate of Completion proves

It shows that you completed the training content of a specific course on TESDA’s official platform. That is useful evidence for a CV, a LinkedIn profile, a job interview or a promotion — especially when you list the exact course titles you completed.

What it does not prove is that you were assessed and found competent in a hands-on test. That is the job of the National Certificate.

Frequently asked questions

Do TESDA online courses give a certificate?

Yes. When you complete a TESDA Online Program course, you can download a Certificate of Completion from the course in your account.

Is the TESDA online certificate valid for work abroad?

It shows completed training, but overseas employers and agencies usually ask for a National Certificate (NC II or higher), which requires an in-person competency assessment.

No. You can study the training content online, but the National Certificate is only issued after passing a competency assessment at an accredited assessment center.

I lost my certificate. Can I download it again?

Log in to your TESDA Online Program account and open the completed course; the certificate link is normally still available there.

Can employers verify my TESDA certificate?

National Certificates can be checked in TESDA’s online Registry of Certified Workers. For online-course certificates, employers usually look at the course name and the TESDA platform.
