What is Events Management Services NC III?

The qualification follows an event from idea to execution: preparing a proposal or bid, building the concept and program, choosing the venue, managing suppliers and contractors, and running the event on the day — including protocol for formal occasions.

As an NC III it assumes more responsibility than an NC II: you coordinate people and suppliers, not just perform tasks.

What you will learn

The core units of competency in the Events Management Services NC III Training Regulation are:

• Plan and develop an event proposal or bid
• Develop an event concept
• Develop an event program
• Select the event venue and site
• Develop and update event industry knowledge
• Provide on-site event management services
• Develop and update knowledge on protocol
• Manage contractors for indoor events

On top of these, every TESDA qualification includes basic competencies (workplace communication, teamwork, professionalism, occupational health and safety) and common competencies for the sector.

A published program design runs 108 hours: 20 basic, 24 common and 64 core (8 hours per core unit). There are no formal entry requirements.
